Travelotica.com is an independent travel information and community website. We are dedicated to cultivating a global community of travelers that encourages independent travel.

We are passionate about travel and want to redefine the travel guide, and are driven to make this one of the most up-to-date, exciting, reliable and respected travel resources in the world. We are striving to make this the place to turn to for all your travel needs. This site is for you, the independent traveler.

As you can see we are still in a very early BETA stage, so please bear with us as we clean things up and get ready for some exciting new features to come!

Background

Travelotica.com was created by Arthur Hanson and went online in April, 2006.

Travelotica.com is a small-scale operation that is entirely home-grown and self funded. We value our independence and recognize that profit allows our independence, so we have teamed up with a number of responsible travel partners and are constantly updating them to provide you with the best deals possible.

Features and Design

In designing this site we strove to keep things simple and consistent while making it entertaining and inspiring.

Simple but Powerful design: Quick loading pages and an intuitive design allow users to easily find the information they need.
Everything Grouped by Destinations: Locate the destination you are interested in and easily browse a wealth of information about each place.

Going Forward

Right now we are still in the building phase and getting the basic content up online. We are working day and night to fill out the other sections, but it will take time so please bear with us - and we would appreciate any help or suggestions that you can give.

There are many improvements we are working on, so stay tuned for many exciting new updates and features.
