Dutch post offices open Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm, plus Sat
8.30am-noon, or later in the big cities. All international post
should go into the slot on postboxes marked "Overige".
Public phones are widespread but almost all take
phonecards or credit cards only; post offices and VVVs sell
phonecards, which can be used in Germany as well. Some train
stations have a small number of coin-phones. The operator
number is tel 0800/0410 (free); international directory enquiries
is on tel 0900/8418 (premium rate).
Internet access is easy in most parts of the country,
with plenty of cybercafés as well as terminals at public
libraries.
