Southern Africa is home to South Africa, the most developed economy in Africa. With abundant wildlife, many cultural attractions, and natural wonders such as the Okavango Delta in Botswana and Kalahari Desert in Namibia Southern Africa has a lot to offer.
Southern Africa has a unique charm that tourists find very attractive. Whether it is roughing it on jungle treks and safaris in Botswana or lazing around on Angola’s beautiful beaches, this region has many attractions. The national parks like the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary in Swaziland and Kruger National Park in South Africa provide excellent opportunities for game viewing, as does Etosha National Park of Namibia. Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls and South Africa’s Madonna waterfalls make for spectacular sights. The holiday resort of Sun City, the Kimberley Diamond Mines and the historic prison on Robben Island are other tourist attractions in South Africa.
