Argentina's postal service, CorreoArgentino, has improved vastly
in reliability since privatization in the 1990s, but is still
plagued by theft and loss. A smaller com pany, OCA, is fairly
reliable but is of less use to foreign visitors as it serves only
the domestic market. The telephone system is improving, both in
terms of quality and price, though it has a long way to go to match
services in North America, Europe and Australia; and Argentina is
embracing the Internet - the network of coverage is expanding every
year and finding places with public access is often easier than in
Europe, North America or Australasia, since relatively few people
own their own computer
