Chad
Chad is a turbulent country, especially in the border area of Sudan and the Borkou-Ennedi-Tibesti region that is beset with fighting and land mines. The places worth seeing in Chad are the dormant volcano of Emi Koussi, the Tibesti mountain range, Lake Chad and the Zakouma National Park packed with large herds of elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, monkeys, lions, antelopes and an abundant bird life.
