North of the centre
Compared to the southern suburbs, the area north of the centre
of Mexico City has less to offer, but two sites of compelling
interest - the emotive Plaza de las Tres Culturas and the
great Basilica of Guadalupe - well deserve the afternoon it
takes to cover both. Further out, and harder to get to, you'll find
the pyramids of Tenayuca and Santa Cecilia , the two
most dramatically preserved remains of Aztec architecture in the
city.
